The story takes you to a futuristic Washington DC; you play the role of a newly inducted government agent, Michael Ford, whose job is to investigate the bizarre attacks in the capital city. The game has you battling a variety of enemies ranging from rogue agents to aliens, and to do so you are given a variety of weapons to choose from. A new multiplayer mode lets you compete against players from around the world.

The developers, High Voltage Software, designed a new game engine known as Quantum3 especially for the Wii platform so as to provide graphics not seen before on the Wii. The player is allowed to customize everything from the cursor sensitivity to the camera change speed. The enemies are also a lot smarter and harder to kill owing to the advanced AI which lets them strategize while in battle.

The game is to be released in the UK and Australia on June 26, 2009 while the North American release is set for June 23, 2009.
