“We are thrilled with the ongoing support from Call of Duty: World at War’s online community,” exclaimed Studio Head of Treyarch, Mark Lamia. “To the millions of fans enlisted for battle, we can’t wait for you to play what we have been working on with our new competitive multiplayer maps, and our latest co-op Zombie map, that reveals some exciting surprises!”

The Banzai map takes players deep into thick jungles situated at the heart of Japanese territory, as they fight to assume control over a river bridge. The map has villages, a waterfall and even hidden caves, and is well suited for sniping as well as all out gun battles. In the Corrosion map, players find themselves in a broken-down Russian train-yard and enemies seem to pop out of every corner.

The next map, Sub Pens is an abandoned Japanese submarine base. Players will have to factor in rain conditions as they battle for control of key choke points. While in the Zombie map Shi No Numa, COD fans will face an endless horde of Zombies. Hell Hounds zip through the jungle environment and Imperial Zombies coming from the foggy swamps make for a tremendously scary experience. The map introduces new traps and a new weapon, the Wunderwaffe DG-2, known more conveniently as ‘The Lightning Gun’.

The Call of Duty: World at War Map Pack 2 for the Xbox 360 can be downloaded from the Xbox Live Marketplace for 800 Microsoft Points and for the PS3, it is available from the PlayStation Store for 9.99 USD (approx. Rs. 475).
